The Artificial Intelligence Safety Forum (AISF) is a nonprofit forum for safety in products that use generative AI. A product that uses generative AI is any application or service that uses AI models to create new, original content. That covers text generators built on large language models (LLMs), image generators, video and animation generators, audio and music generators, and multimodal tools that combine them.
We work as an advisory body. Organisations come to us to collaborate on generative AI projects, and we lead our own. That work takes shape as research reports, guides, and support materials, alongside direct advice. Put simply, we’re a place people can come to talk through safety.
To become the global standard for generative AI safety. We want a future where products that use generative AI are built with trust and user wellbeing at their core.
To advance trust and accountability in generative AI. We do that by advising organisations, producing independent research and guidance, and giving people a place to work through questions of safety.
